Antelope Canyon

After getting our fill of water activities on Lake Powell, we decided to spend another night at the same campsite. The next morning we took a tour to cave in Antelope Canyon. We got driven in a truck with humongous tires. Antelope Canyon is on Apache territory so the only way to see it is through this type of tour. Our guide took us into the canyon and provided some history and even took photos for us with our camera. It was a very beautiful and mesmerizing place indeed.

Antelope Canyon is unbelievable looking! It looks like an abstract painting…Georgia O’Keeffe style or something. More history details please!
Tiana! It’s very interesting and right to find the same “lines” in this canyon and Georgia O’Keeffe. By the way she lived in New Mexico and one of her museum in Santa Fe.
Euge and Aleksey! I guess you know how happy we are (me and Igor) with your decision to go in this canyon. It’s absolutely mystical to be inside and touch the walls –they are cold but feel alive, they polished almost like work of some artist.
and pictures came very good–I know how almost impossible to do it there.
